RentalHandover ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through rentalhandover.com and the RentalHandover SaaS platform. Contact: hello@rentalhandover.com.
We collect account registration data (name, email, company), usage data and inspection protocols created by tenants, photos and signatures uploaded during handover sessions, and payment information (processed by our payment provider; we do not store card details).
To provide and improve the RentalHandover service, to send transactional emails (inspection PDFs, account notifications), and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
All data is hosted on EU-based infrastructure (OVH Cloud, Germany). Files are encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). We use Cloudflare for DDoS protection and CDN delivery.
Inspection protocols are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation. You can export or request deletion of all your data at any time.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, port, and erase your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact hello@rentalhandover.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
